The killer mosquitos: just in time for summer - malaria is headed north

Article Abstract:

Malaria's spread in the US is most probable as travel is on the rise, blood donors are not screened, the anopheline mosquito remains abundant and the prevailing climatic conditions that promote spread of the disease. Moreover, funding for research on the disease is small compared to AIDS.

Article Abstract:

The US dollar has been the subject of harsh criticism from a variety of groups. Local money systems worldwide have thus begun to increasingly proliferate that would enable local labor and resources to keep manufacturing and circulating. There may be up to 3,000 such systems worldwide.
