The long vigil of Tony Burke

Article Abstract:

Tony Burke, of Amesbury, MA, lived in a failed condominium complex for five years using survivalist techniques. The complex had no running water or electricity and was frequently a target of crime. Burke paid off his mortgage in 1995, and the condominium complex was renovated from 1996-98, and Burke still lives there.

Too cold for memory

A dog owner describes the antics of her puppy that made gardening difficult. The dog started out by tearing up the garden, but is now able to play with the weeds as they are pulled, much to its delight.
