The mystery of Amelia Earhart
Article Abstract:
Amelia Earhart and her navigator managed to land her plane on a remote island in the Phoenix Group called Nikumaroro. Missed by a botched Naval search operation, they probably died of dehydration on the hot, dry island. The details of the search for evidence are described.
