Clothes are central to personal aesthetics and individuality. Hence it is suggested that one must steer clear of the fashion trends that continue to objectify men and women through demeaning, violent and gratuitously sexualized images and practices by shopping in locally owned stores and hunting out independent designers.

Good life, good death: The only way to learn from the reaper is to accept he's there

Human beings are gifted with the ability to contemplate their own demise, and this weird blessing makes them simultaneously obsessed with death and in denial about it. Perhaps humans would do best by learning to balance the fear of dying with its power to make them better at the art of living.
