The serum run
Article Abstract:
The musher and their war trained dogs had saved a community 80 years ago on January 21, 1925, thus bringing in new hope for the survival of the people in Nome, Alaska. When an outbreak of diphtheria took place it was the musher and his dogs that took them on time to the nearest hospital even in the coldest of the climate, which will always be remembered in the hearts of the people.
