The spy who fell in love with a shadow
Article Abstract:
Bernard Boursicot was arrested by the French government in 1983 for allegedly spying in China. Boursicot's wife, Chinese opera star Shi Pei Pu, was found to be a man after also being arrested. Their relationship and how Boursicot became a spy are examined.
