Article Abstract:
The Guggenheim will exhibit painter Francesco Clemente's spiritual and sexually complex works. His art was influenced by Bob Dylan, Allen Ginsberg and Krishnamurti. His works were introduced to America in 1980 when he and his wife, Alba, arrive in New York. He began in the Naples aristocracy and spent the 70s in Rome and India.
