Article Abstract:

The American Legion's National Executive Committee passed 37 resolutions addressing health care, defense downsizing, national security and employment. At the Committee's 1992 Spring Meeting, the Legionnaires devised counter-proposals to Congressional plans cutting veterans' benefits.
