Brief description on plates made out of various forms of materials such as Stoneware, Bone China and Earthware are discussed. Bone China was developed in 18th century England and made of animal bone ash, clay and minerals, which was originally used by the manufacturers in very formal patterns, however, now they are also available in transitional styles.
