Who are 'The Donkey People?' (eastern Connecticut home)(House for Sale)

The beautiful saltbox home in Hanover, CT, originally built in 1720 is the home of Jeanne and Ray Walker, affectionately known as the 'donkey people' for the miniature Mediterranean donkeys they raise on the property. The home was restored and a wing was added in 1980, and the asking price is $515,000.

The Guilford Handcraft Center in Guilford, CT, has conducted a Holiday Festival of Crafts for the past 18 years since 1979. Over 13,000 products produced by 500 of the top artists in the US are displayed. Crafts include stuffed toys and wooden cat figures.
