Gifts of money and gifts of time: estimating th effects of tax prices and available time
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to determine the relation of private philanthropy, such as cash gifts and volunteer work, and tax policy. Volunteer labor supply from the Florida Bureau of Economics and Business research was used as the basis of the study. Results indicate various characteristics of private philanthropists. Gifts of money increase as socioeconomic status increases. Private philanthropy is sensitive to tax and spending policy.
