Some doubts about feminism
Article Abstract:
Feminism in the US has been successful at promoting justice for women, but it has been far less successful at improving society. It has had an adverse effect on the family by breaking down sex roles and the division of labor in the home. Unlike efforts to eliminate barriers faced by Jewish people and African-Americans, opening up the US workplace to women has not promoted excellence. Women's rights have focused more on independence from responsibility than they have equality of responsibility, and many men have responded to that independence by abandoning women.
