One Plan Solves Two Disability Problems
Article Abstract:
Most companies have found adequate health and life insurance coverage, but have found disability insurance to be a more difficult problem. Most group disability insurance penalizes a worker for going back to work part- time or in a diminished capacity with loss of disability benefits. Also, the benefits are discriminatory to high- income employees. Two methods of combining group and individual plans have also produced unsatisfactory results as only part of the problem is solved or else they are costly and over-insuring. A new solution is a group plan with a rider that provides benefits only when the insured is working part-time. It is inexpensive, provides full protection under the group plan and loss-of-income benefits from the individual contract.

Champion of Aboriginal art
Article Abstract:
Percy J. Tresize has been studying the rock art of Cape York Peninsula in Queensland, Australia, for over 30 years. Tresize has located and catalogued hundreds of rock art sites and studied with Aboriginal elders to learn its meaning. Tresize believes the art is the world's oldest, much older than previously thought, and that knowledge of this tradition will help to restore pride and respect to the Aboriginal people.

Article Abstract:
A writer tells why he wrote a book about his two-year-old daughter. When she was two, a small accident suddenly gave her the concept of time. As the father watched her begin to grapple with the idea of time, he realized he remembered nothing of his own life before age three. Thus he wrote the book.
