Patterns in Maryland Medicaid enrollment among persons with AIDS
Article Abstract:
Health care financing has shifted away from private insurance toward Medicaid, a federal public funding program that finances the health care needs of low-income people. In Maryland, an increasing number of persons with AIDS (PWAs) have been enrolling in Medicaid. A study using a Markov model has been used to identify the trends in enrollment among PWAs in Medicaid.
