The Operations Review Process: An Independent Evaluation of Performance
Article Abstract:
An operational review differs from an operational audit in that the former not only identifies problem areas but recommends ways in which they can be solved. The primary concern of an operations review is the effectiveness and efficiency of a department and how well it relates to the larger organization. A review must begin with thorough planning, followed by an analysis, the development of conclusions and recommendations, a preliminary report on findings, and ending with a final review.
