A model student
Article Abstract:
The ethos of Emap Open Learning allows students to undertake the required amount of study while also fulfilling their domestic and professional commitments, according to Cath Curtis, who gained her BSc Honours degree in Jul 1999. She states that her family and colleagues were very supportive as she worked to gain higher qualifications. She welcomes the fact that she was able to select which modules to study and that all modules were relevant to practice areas. She believes that she can now use what she has learnt to improve direct patient care.
