A way through the maze

Article Abstract:

UK nurses need to consider their individual learning needs when addressing the requirement for continuous training under Post-Registration Education and Practice (PREP). One of the aims of PREP is to encourage nurses to be proactive, and they should therefore not merely look at training courses available locally. They must look further afield for ideas, and may need to set up initiatives of their own. However, this does not mean that training courses are not a valuable form of post-registration education.
