Adelaide healthy food basket: a survey on food cost, availability and affordability in five local government areas in metropolitan Adelaide, South Australia
Article Abstract:
A study to compare the cost, affordability and availability of a standardized food health basket in five government districts in Adelaide to check whether all individuals are getting proper food and nutrition is conducted. Results conclude that healthy food was easily found in lower socio-economic areas as well as others but that affordability was difficult for families on welfare.

Over- and underreporting of energy intake by patients with metabolic syndrome using an automated dietary assessment website
Article Abstract:
A study to assess the accuracy of energy intakes reported by patients using the DietAdvice website and whether relationships exist between reporting status and patient characteristics is conducted. Results conclude a lack of accuracy in reporting and no relationship between reporting and patient characteristics.

A study to investigate the health claims being made in Australian magazine advertisements about various food items and their efficacy is conducted. Results conclude that health claims are being made in Australian magazine advertisements and that very few of them proved correct.
