Article Abstract:
Pat Arnold believes that androstenedione combined with carbohydrates can be more beneficial than androstenedione alone. He estimates that a 50 or more percentage increase in circulating testosterone would be ideal for weight training athletes with normal testosterone levels.

Hormone imbalance is one of the major causes of sexual impotency. Lack of sexual desire can be attributed to low testosterone levels which in turn is caused by an adrenaline rush or overproduction of prolactin by the pituitary gland.
