Are standardized reporting requirements around the corner?

Article Abstract:

The Insurance Data Management Association and the American national Standards Institute formed the IDMA/ANSI Z16 committee to create a set of standards to describe and code occupational illnesses and injuries. The new standards also promises to facilitate worker compensation reporting. To come up with the standards, the committee initially focused on the how the processing of workers' compensation claims is done, after which, the best classification system to be used was identified. The ANSI Z16.2 or OIICS and the ICD-10-CM systems were recommended by the committee.

Legible labels an important of fall protection inspections

Article Abstract:

The importance of having legible labels that need to pass the inspection standards of American National Standards Institute is discussed. The importance of checking whether the equipment is in compliance with the standards and the causes due to which the equipment tends to deteriorate are also discussed.
