Calif. fines out-of-state doctors for prescribing

Article Abstract:

The Board of California is taking strict actions to protect Californians from doctors who prescribe drugs over the Internet without a prior egood faithE examination, and even encouraging other medical boards to take tougher measures against online prescribing. California law allows a $25,000 fine per illegal online prescribing thus hoping to convey the physician community and to the public that it is a dangerous business practice.
