A study of a new drainable bag for people with ileostomies
Article Abstract:
The performance of a new one-piece drainable ostomy bag (SenSura) is compared with that of a well-established bag. It is found that people with ileostomies get a greater sense of security when wearing the SenSura bag due to the good adhesion, reduced adhesive erosion, better hygiene and easier handling.
