Dealing with disclosure

Article Abstract:

The increased awareness of the commercial potential of biomedical research has resulted in a corrupting influence on scientists, who may engage in misconduct for the sake of financial gain. Many journals have developed mechanisms to address the possibility that commercial bias could affect the research they publish, of which the main strategy is to request authors to disclose their financial interests in their work.

A prion protein epitope selective for the pathologically misfolded conformation

Article Abstract:

The different types of diseases and deficiency that are observed due to conformational conversion of proteins into sequestered amino-acid side chain is described. The different methods like Antibody generation, Peptide Elisa, Flow cytometry and many more are discussed.
