Marijuana use and its association with adherence to antiretroviral therapy among HIV-infected persons with moderate to severe nausea

Article Abstract:

A study is done to identify which subgroups of patients might have differential adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART) in association with recent marijuana use. The result showed that adherence was positively associated with undetectable plasma virus and negatively associated with alcohol and other illicit drug use.

Treatment of facial lipoatrophy with intradermal injections of polylactic acid in HIV-infected patients

Article Abstract:

The safety and efficacy of intradermal injections of polyactic acid (PLA) in patients with facial lipoatrophy under antiretroviral therapy are assessed. Injections of PLA improved patients' self-perception of facial lipoatrophy with a good safety profile.
