End of recession lets safety pros breathe easier

Article Abstract:

Despite slower recovery, safety health personnel can look to an end to the 'layoff' season. With the employment future for these personnel looking bright and their role in organizations being given due importance, safety personnel can no longer need to bear an anticipated look. Apart from these, the safety personnel have also learnt to manage their monetary aspects well.

Keeping claims in check

Article Abstract:

A focus on increasing compensation costs and injury claims of workers is presented. The factors responsible for rise in indemnity costs and decline in injury claims, as observed by National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI), are also discussed.
