Article Abstract:

Older people can get physically fit through exercise, a proper diet and healthy sleeping habits. Unfortunately, only about 8% of Americans aged 65 and above were found to exercise regularly and most of them have insufficient intakes of vitamins and minerals.

An inactive and dependent lifestyle puts an older person at risk for mental and physical problems. Bodybuilding and other exercise will improve nutrition and decrease risk of hypertension and osteoporosis.

Not so golden years

Article Abstract:

Health for older people depends on stress control, exercise and diet. Bodybuilding for the aged can build bone mass, increase strength, control weight and reduce the risks of many diseases.
