Fizzle out? Soda-pop can make muscles go flat

Article Abstract:

A recent study showed the people who drink plenty of sodas are less likely to eat fruit or drink or fruit juice. Another study also showed that commercial smoothies are not necessarily healthier than sodas since some contain more calories and sweeteners.

Bone up on milk drinking

Article Abstract:

Adequate calcium intake is necessary to maintain bone density and prevent osteoporosis in women. Low calcium intake is a common nutritional deficiency in the US which can be prevented by drinking one to two glasses of milk daily.
