Going bust! Who's in danger of going bankrupt and how you can avoid it

Article Abstract:

Bankruptcy, a method of proceeding after financial cataclysm, does happen to physicians, in spite of their higher-than-average earnings. Doctors can avoid the most common causes of physician bankruptcy, which are impairment caused by chemical dependency or mental breakdown, costs of a business not related to the physician's practice, or spending more money than earned. Examples of doctors' experiences with bankruptcy are elaborated.
