A man with unilateral weakness and pain

Article Abstract:

A 50-year-old man with weakness and pain in his right arm and leg was diagnosed with post-polio syndrome (PPS) after a series of tests ruled out other possibilities. He had a mild case of polio at age ten involving his right leg, but had made full recovery. As many as three-fourths of polio survivors develop PPS many years later. Proper management of PPS is still a subject of debate.
