Article Abstract:

Increasing utilization of bone marrow transplantation has provided new challenges for nurse practitioners. Coordination of post-transplantation care is essential, requiring attentive monitoring of the patient's physical and emotional states. Nurse practitioners are in an ideal position to ensure quality and consistency of care, as their role is integrated into the patient's daily life.
