How will IWL affect the private sector?

Article Abstract:

Improving Working Lives (IWL) is unique in its comprehensive approach to employee-friendly practices and target-driven improvements, but independent sectors have plenty to offer if chosen wisely. The NHS and independent sectors are compared and it is noticed that in some areas, like mental health care, private sectors excel over the NHS.

Opening cultural doors: Providing culturally sensitive healthcare to Arab American and American Muslim patients

Article Abstract:

Differences in the social and religious cultures of Arab Americans and American Muslims raise challenges to healthcare access and delivery. A broad overview of Arab culture and Islamic religious beliefs that would assist providers in delivering culturally sensitive healthcare to these groups is presented.

Medical students self-reported work hours: Perception versus reality

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to compare the students' actual work hours with their self-reported work hours during the obstetrics and gynecology clerkship. It was observed that third year students overestimate their work hours in obstetrics and gynecology.
