Athletes undergoing rigorous activities or training should remember to maintain their fluid balance by taking in fluids before, during and after exertion. Sports drinks are preferable for longer exercises to replenish glycogen stores, electrolytes and fluids lost.

Stevia - how sweet it is

Article Abstract:

Stevia, also known as Stevia rebaudiana, is a sweetener extracted from a South American plant that is slowly being recognized in the US. The substance, which has received federal approval as a food supplement, is said to be 200 to 300 times sweeter than sugar.

Isn't it iron-ic?

Article Abstract:

Studies have shown that too much iron can cause fatigue and flu-like symptoms associated with hemochromatosis. Early diagnosis of hemochromatosis is the best defense against chronic fatigue.
