The report published by NICE, which provides guidelines regarding the diagnosis and treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is presented. The guidance explains the symptoms, as well as the various options available for the treatment of the disease.

Evidence on effectiveness of self-care support strategies
Article Abstract:
A study to assess the benefits that patients derived through self-care support networks is conducted. Results show that teaching patients felt empowered when taught self-help skills and they also benefited from group support networks.
