Kept practicing, even while a patient
Article Abstract:
The work of James H. Blume, Jr. who served patients even when he himself was a cancer patient is discussed. He kept open his family practice in Forest Hill, Western Virginia, town of 75 people in the southern tip of the state and was honored as 2002 Country Doctor of the Year by Staff Care.

A study of Boston internists aimed at examining the change in attitudes towards hospitalists after the implementation of hospitalist program was conducted. The study pointed towards an improvement in physiciansE attitude for hospitalists.
