Article Abstract:

The therapeutic use of influenza prevention drugs has been found to be highly effective in the nursing home situation, although a lack of data has resulted in the UK government failing to give its backing for a new antiflu prophylaxis because of budget factors. Long-term confusion

Article Abstract:

A UK court ruling on which organisation should cover the cost of providing nursing care for disabled people has raised more questions than it has answered. The ruling was supposed to decide where responsibility for nursing care lay. It was originally the responsibility of health authorities, which claimed to offer care for life. The ruling has now placed the onus on local authorities to provide nursing services which are considered a care package.
