Lack of staff implicated in deaths
Article Abstract:
A study reveals that the shortage of nursing staff at a Kent trust led to the death of a large number of patients from Clostridium difficile. Unhygienic and dirty equipments and surroundings also were highly responsible for these deaths.

A&E services deteriorating steadily
Article Abstract:
Accident and emergency (A&E) health services in Wales and in England are rapidly deteriorating, according to the Audit Commission's report. The services are deteriorating regardless of what the available staff and workloads are.
