Article Abstract:

Five businesswomen from different fields shared the strategies they use to integrate their successful careers with parenthood, in an organized panel at the Soho House in Manhattan. The mothers sharing their experiences included CNN anchor Soledad O'Brien, hair salon and haircare-company entrepreneur Ouidad, maternity designer Liz Lange, children's bedding designer Amy Coe, and advertising executive Jan Weinstein.

Carolyn and Philip Cowan, professors in Psychology feel that a couple's satisfaction level declines after they become parents, which have a negative effect on the kids emotionally and academically.
