A survey of 2,677 British nurses by Nursing Times magazine reveals that nursing care in the United Kingdom suffers from a shortage of supplies. Survey respondents revealed shortages in everything from pillows to pulse oximeters.

The future nurses wants training to enable them to develop their clinical skills and to carry out more specialised roles. They all agree that nurses must be adequately remunerated for taking on increased responsibilities.
