Night shift put nurses at risk

Article Abstract:

Some Seattle-based researchers have found that women who work a minimum of three night shifts a week for a four-and-a-half year period at least, are at increased risk of developing breast cancer. The research is considered to be vital to the nursing profession, causing an Royal College of Nursing official to call for a stronger study of the links between nightshift work and breast cancer.
