Nurses fearful of 'right-to-die' law
Article Abstract:
The new Mental Capacity Act will increase nurses' responsibility to ensure that patients' end-of-life care is in line with their wishes when it comes into effect in April 2007. RCN mental health adviser, Ian Hulatt believes that letting patients die could leave nurses mentally scarred.
