Pathogens cooperate in lymphomagenesis
Article Abstract:
Researchers have shown how two pathogens implicated in Burkitt's lymphoma (eBL) might interact to cause cancer. They have showed that Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and malaria might increase the frequency of activation-induced deaminase (AID) dysregulation, resulting in eBL.
