Pharmacologic inactivation of kinase suppressor of ras-1 abrogates Ras-mediated pancreatic cancer
Article Abstract:
Results reveal that kinase suppressor of ras-1 antisense oligonucleotides do not show effective therapeutic regimens against pancreatic cancer. However, the kinase suppressor of ras-1 gene serves as target for treatment of gain-of-function Ras-dependent human malignancies.

This article discusses the development of a vaccine for treating HIV-infected patients and its efficacy. Research shows that modified dendritic cells can boost immunity in terms of interrupting HIV disease progression as demonstrated in macaques monkeys.
