The last frontier. (war time nursing)

Article Abstract:

A nursing assistant in an army hospital in Italy during the Second World War describes his encounters with wounded German prisoners. He discusses the injuries and treatments, and his later transfer to the hospital prisoner of war compound, where less seriously wounded patients were being nursed.
