Group targets surging TB in Africa
Article Abstract:
The World Health Organization has reported that incidence rates of tuberculosis (TB) have tripled since the year 1990 in 21 African Countries with high levels of HIV. It is estimated that 2.4 million Africans are infected and 540000 die annually from the disease.

Groups publish performance measures aimed at boosting cardiac rehab referrals
Article Abstract:
Experts from various cardiology centers developed set of performance measures for encouraging physicians and hospitals to routinely refer patients for cardiac rehabilitation. They also ensured the quality in the rehabilitation programs.
