Myogenic reactivity is enhanced in rat radial uterine arteries in a model of maternal undernutrition
Article Abstract:
The alteration of myogenic tone in small radial uterine arteries due to maternal undernutrition during pregnancy is examined. Diet restriction during pregnancy results in the impairment of nitric oxide synthase pathway and enhances myogenic tone in the radial uterine arteries.

Nuchal translucency and other first-trimester sonographic markers of chromosomal abnormalities
Article Abstract:
The association between chromosomal abnormalities and increased nuchal translucency (NT) in the first trimester of pregnancy is examined. Nearly 76.8 percent of fetuses with trisomy 21 were identified by increased NT.
