Reformed US malaria program garners critics' approval

Article Abstract:

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has started spending more money on spraying insecticides for mosquito control and less money on consultants and meetings, following the charges of poor accounting and outsize payments to consultants. Sports law could even the score for women in science

Article Abstract:

A powerful US law that had an impact on women's sports may reduce the innate differences that account for the low numbers of women in science. The 1972 law, called Title IX, which bars sex discrimination in education, can be used to address gender bias in hiring and allocation of resources such as lab space.
