Resident job satisfaction: One year of duty hours

Article Abstract:

A study aimed at the assessment of job satisfaction and quality of life aspects among residents in obstetrics and gynecology before and after the implementation of duty-hour requirements. It was observed that residents had an encouraging perspective regarding their time and ability to study and pursue research and clinical areas.

Factors detracting students from applying for an obstetrics and gynecology residency

Article Abstract:

The perception about the characteristics of obstetrics-gynecology (OG) of medical students who choose residency in OG is compared with those students who choose to enter another specialty is compared. Student perception of an OG residency may detract them from pursuing OG as a career.

Obstetrics-gynecology resident satisfaction

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted with the objective of identifying factors associated with satisfaction in the obstetrics-gynecology residency program. It was concluded that relevant training and collegiality were most strongly linked to resident satisfaction.
