Article Abstract:
Patients who need resuscitation often have airway obstruction, and some of the basic airway management procedures are described. During resuscitation, a simple head tilt, chin lift and jaw thrust maneuvers can achieve airway patency in 91% of cases and it is suggested that prompt recognition of airway obstruction is vital and it needs to be treated effectively.
