Risk assessment and management of periodontal disease

Article Abstract:

The risk factors associated with the occurrence of periodontal diseases are discussed. A three step method to prevent and manage periodontal diseases, namely brushing, flossing and rinsing with an antimicrobial mouthrinse, is suggested.
