Physical activity in primary - and secondary-school children in West Glamorgan
Article Abstract:
A study of primary and secondary school children's physical activity found that girls were not as active as boys, who played more team games, and age had a significant effect on activity. Girls did not spend any more time than boys on activities such as swimming or gymnastics, and there was a marked fall in leisure time physical activity in the transition to secondary school from primary school.
